What is Microblading?
Microblading is an advanced brow embroidery technique using a specialist hand-tool with disposable microblade made up of multiple needles, creating bespoke and crisp hair strokes, which look like natural eyebrow hair. The microblading treatment should last between 12-18 months before needing a colour boost.
Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup procedure. The traditional semi-permanent method uses a machine, which will penetrate deeper into the skin (dermis layer), allowing the tattoo to last up to 3 years. The advantage to microblading is a more crisp, natural and finer finish. This technique is more superficial and will tattoo in between the epidermis and the dermis layer of the skin.
The microblading technique is suitable for a very diverse demographic of clients:
- Hair loss and lack of definition
- Thin brows caused by years of overplucking
- Post chemotherapy patients or Alopecia
- Scars
- Thickening thin eyebrows
- Correcting symmetry
- Active lifestyles
- Trouble applying conventional makeup
